Beautiful Sunday at Hummel Training Centre – the Rangers 0 Celtic 3

CELTIC WOMEN put in a dominant display at the Hummel Training Centre this afternoon, beating the Rangers by 3-0.

Earlier in the day, Celtic thrashed Aberdeen with all four goals coming in the first 45 minutes. The opposite happened with the Celtic Women’s first team keeping all their own goal scoring antics to the second half.

And it was Sarah Ewens who got the opening goal just after the break, blasting the ball into the Rangers net to send the Celtic girls on their way to their very own Beautiful Sunday.

Celtic’s lead was doubled just before the hour mark when Josephine Giard’s low shot was too good for the Rangers keeper. This is My, My, My Beautiful Sunday, she probably said as the Celtic girls celebrated their 2-0 lead over their Glasgow rivals.

And the icing on the Beautiful Sunday cake came in the closing stages when Katherine Smart grabbed Celtic’s third of the day and rounded off another Beautiful Sunday…
