Benji Nygren arrives in Glasgow ahead of £1.5m Celtic move

Incoming Celtic signing Benjamin Nygren has arrived in Glasgow ahead of a move to the Scottish Champions. The 23-year-old has been tracked by Celtic with a deal being clinched with Nordsjaelland and the player.

According to Record Sport, the attacking midfielder has arrived in Scotland ahead of the formalities which will see him sign a four year deal with an option for a further year.

The expectation is that Celtic will announce Nygren in the coming days, as Brendan adds an attacking option to his squad. Given the player had only six months remaining on his deal, Celtic managed to agree a £1.5m bargain deal for the Swedish Internationalist.

Celtic have already signed Kieran Tierney and Ross Doohan with two former players returning to the club. The return of Tierney was a statement signing by the club but Brendan insisted that he required three or four quality first team additions. Callum Osmond is expected to sign from Fulham for a compensation fee to the London club.
