Bitton picks three current Celts and £115m pair in dream 5-a-side team

NIR BITTON has picked his dream 5-a-side team using his Celtic teammates past and present. The Israeli midfielder was signed by Neil Lennon back in 2013 and has played with some incredible players in his seven years with the Scottish Champions, meaning it was a difficult task when asked his dream 5s team.

In a Twitter Q&A, the 28-year-old selected three of his teammates that won 9IAR but two of Celtic’s recent exports have also made Bitton’s team.

The Wizard of Oz, Tom Rogic, has made the team along with Celtic captain Scott Brown and ‘keeper Fraser Forster. The other two have a combined transfer fee of over £115m, Moussa Dembele and Virgil Van Dijk.

The selection by Bitton showcases the talented players that have been at Celtic Park in recent years as arguments could be made for current players like Callum McGregor, James Forrest and Odsonne Edouard. Whilst ex-Celts like Scott Sinclair, Kieran Tierney and Stuart Armstrong might feel they would be a better pick in Bitton’s 5s team.

Elsewhere, Bitton admitted that he was happy to play anywhere that the manager asks whether that is in midfield or defence.
