‘Boy looks deadly,’ Watch Callum Osmand’s impressive finishing in summer heat

Incoming Celtic signing Callum Osmand, who was spotted getting a tour of the club’s training facilities at Lennoxtown a few days ago, has been working on his finishing skills in the heatwave as he prepares for his move to the Scottish Champions.

He certainly looks like he is very competent goalscorer with the Noag, who posted the video on social media noting that Callum Osmand ‘looks deadly’.

His signing is exciting as he looks a top striker and our record of bringing in players who have been through the Fulham set-up in recent years has been excellent – there’s Moussa Dembele, Matt O’Riley a and don’t forget Paddy Roberts – can’t believe that we’ve got through the first week of the transfer window and the former Celtic Invincible hasn’t been linked with a reunion with his Celtic Bro Kieran Tierney.

Bringing Callum Osmand to Celtic is also satisfying in that it starts to reverse a trend where Celtic are losing our best young talent to English football, the latest being Daniel Cummings who will sign for West Ham when his contract expires shortly.

Last year it was a double whammy with Rocco Vata and Daniel Kelly opting for Championship sides Watford and Millwall rather than staying at Celtic and before that Ben Doak went to Liverpool even though he’s made the breakthrough into the Celtic first team under Ange Postecoglou and even got some minutes in that never to be forgotten night-time Glasgow Derby in February 2022 which allowed the Celtic support to sign – “We’re on the Top of the League, looking down on theRangers…”

Certainly looking forward to seeing young Callum in the Hoops this season.
