Broony’s Brief – Top Sports Barrister Nick de Marco QC on The Celtic Star

TOP SPORTS BARRISTER Nick De Marco QC was featured in an excellent article by Niall J on The Celtic Star yesterday, and he appears to have been quite pleased about it. Obviously a reader too, the QC you will remember was called in to represent Scott Brown against the Scottish FA pathetic charges about “Not acting in the interests of football” by celebrating a Glasgow Derby win over the Rangers at the end of March 2019 that effectively tied up 8-in-a-row by ending the title challenge from Steven Gerrard’s side.

Nick de Marco QC took to his social media account to reference the article and he seems rather pleased at being featured on your favourite Celtic site yesterday.

And if there is any attempt by the Null and Void merchants to try to deny Celtic the title then we’ll be hearing plenty more from Nick, don’t worry about that.

Here’s Niall’s article which Nick was mentioned in in case you missed it yesterday. It includes a video of Nick appearing on Channel 4 News on Friday evening and an article he has written that examines the legal consequences surrounding the coronavirus crisis and what it means for football. It’s well worth a read.
