Celtic and Liverpool Legend Kenny Dalglish Released from Hospital after Coronavirus Diagnosis

KENNY DALGLISH has been released from hospital after testing positive for the deadly Coronavirus five days ago, as reported by the Daily Record.

The Celtic and Liverpool legend confirmed his diagnosis via the European Champions’ website on Friday night; however, he has been released after being asymptomatic.

The 69-year-old praised the NHS for looking after him during his time in hospital and for all the work they are doing across the UK to fight this pandemic and save lives.

“They were absolutely brilliant. As a nation, we are all very fortunate to have them and I wish them all well as they work tirelessly to help the country through this pandemic.”

Hopefully people will realise that the disease can go undetected, as is the case with Dalglish.

Dalglish made 322 appearances for Celtic before a then record £440k to join the Merseyside club. At Liverpool, Dalglish made 502 full appearances before becoming player-manager before phasing out his playing and eventually hanging up his boots in 1990.

Everyone wishes King Kenny the best in his recovery at home.
