Celtic apologise after confirming fans were double charged at Paradise

Celtic have apologised after fans were double charged for purchases at food and drink kiosks on Wednesday night. Goals from Cameron Carter-Vickers and Callum McGregor sent supporters home happy with three points secured but subsequently, fans realised that there were duplicate payments coming off of their banks.

The club have addressed this and confirmed that Sodexo Live, their partners, suffered from an error which resulted in fans being double charged at the kiosks.

Fans will be repaid in due course. However, the issue remains that only contactless can be used around the ground. Supporters should have the option to pay with cash with issues like this emphasising the issues around contactless payments.

Celtic are next at home on the 19th of March with Ross County visiting Paradise.
