Celtic captain Callum McGregor has been named in SPFL’s Team of the Week following his key influence in Celtic’s important 2-1 victory over Kilmarnock in the Scottish Cup on Saturday evening…

The skipper opened the scoring with a trademark strike into the bottom right-hand corner for his seventh goal of the season in all competitions.
Callum McGregor has played 32 games this season for Celtic and will be aiming to land an historic 24th and 25th domestic honour by clinching both the Scottish Premiership and Scottish Cup trophies in May.
Celtic’s hard-fought win
Celtic’s hard-fought 2-1 win over Premiership opponents Kilmarnock on Saturday night saw Brendan Rodgers’ men book their place in the fifth round of the oldest cup competition in world football.

The Hoops will now face Scottish Championship side Raith Rovers managed by ex-Celt Barry Robson on the weekend of 7 February at Paradise.
