Celtic have finally announced the loan signing of Irish international striker Adam Idah from Norwich City. The deal runs until the end of the season and does NOT include an option to buy.

The 22-year-old forward came through the ranks at Norwich, and has made 115 appearances for the club, scoring 17 goals, including seven this season. Adam has also been capped 22 times by the Republic of Ireland, scoring three times for his country.

The new Celtic loan signing, who arrived in Glasgow last night ahead of his medical, spoke to Celtic TV after the loan deal was finalised.

“It’s such a huge club with such a big history behind it and I can’t even put into words what it’s like to be at Celtic.

“My family and my friends are all delighted that I’m here and I just can’t wait to get started. All of us back home support Celtic so it’s huge for me and I’m so excited to be here. I want to play games, I want to help this team and the aim for me is to win those two trophies and I want to score a lot of goals for this club,”  Celtic’s new signing Adam Idah told Celtic TV.

Adam will speak to the Celtic fan media tomorrow afternoon and The Celtic Star will attend.
