Former Celtic goalkeeper Craig Gordon has signed a new deal with Hearts. The 41-year-old has signed a new deal, which will take him until the summer of 2025.
On Boxing Day 2022, Gordon suffered what many felt was a career ending injury after a double leg break. However, after surgery and rehab, the Scotland Internationalist is back playing.

Now, he will continue playing with the Jambos until (at least) next summer. The short term aim for Gordon will likely be to displace Zander Clark and earn himself a seat on Steve Clarke’s plane to Germany this summer.
Gordon made 242 appearances at Celtic, winning an incredible 14 major honours in his time in the Hoops. Gordon spent six years at Celtic but following the expiry of his deal in 2020, no agreement was reached leaving the Invincible keeper free to join any club.
Hearts swooped to sign their former £9m export, who played just six games for Celtic from the beginning of 2019 up until his departure in the summer of 2020. The leg break for the Jambos up at Tannadice was a sickener but Gordon, who has had his fair share of bad injuries, is refusing to Hang his boots up just yet.
