Celtic will take on the Rangers on Sunday at Parkhead with the result expected to have recuperations on the fate of the Premiership title. The Hoops are currently 5 points ahead of their Glasgow rivals although Steven Gerrard’s men have one game in hand.
A win for the Hoops would spell doom for the Rangers as it would mean that they have lost all three of the derbies this season and see them fall 8 points behind the defending Scottish champions. Neil Lennon’s men though would be aware of the fact that a loss could see them lose their top position if the Rangers manage to win their spare game as well.
To be honest, Steven Gerrard’s side dominated most aspects of the game when the two teams met at Hampden Park earlier this month. And Celtic will be hoping to put a much better performance on Sunday. After all, they could not beat us when we put in arguably our worst performance of the season. So what chance do they have if we are anything close to our best on Sunday?
Celtic have named their 21-man provisional squad for Sunday’s clash against the Rangers. And as expected Mohamed Elyounoussi and Hatem Abd Elhamed are still missing.
