CELTIC are apparently holding talks with free agent Lyle Taylor. Sky Sports are reporting that the Scottish Champions are looking to the former Charlton Athletic striker in order to fill the striking vacancy at the club. Neil Lennon’s side have been linked with Albian Ajeti, Steven Fletcher and Ivan Toney but the veteran would be an underwhelming signing.
The 30-year-old is out of contract with the London side and is expected to move on in the summer from the Championship side with a number of sides keen to take the ex-Falkirk striker that scored 11 goals in the Championship last year.

Celtic are in talks with striker Lyle Taylor, who is a free agent after leaving Charlton.
Celtic boss Neil Lennon this afternoon told @SkySportsNews he’s holding talks with Steven Fletcher plus a couple more strikers.

Taylor has had a nomadic career playing for 15 clubs and any move for Taylor would be bizarre considering Celtic have Bayo, Klimala, Griffiths and Edouard all vying for the striking roles at Celtic Park.
The club have been linked with a number of players coming out of the Championship but it is unlikely that many of these players could strengthen the club as Neil Lennon’s side look to complete an unprecedented 10IAR.
Taylor rejected an extension to complete the Championship season with Charlton believing it may hamper his ability to get a new deal elsewhere.
