Some Celtic fans attending the flag day Scottish Premiership could have a travel headache after the match due to ScotRail’s decision to cut their evening services.
Celtic SLO John Paul Taylor this afternoon passed on the news to Celtic supporters after the club received confirmation from ScotRail.
“Confirmation that we have been notified by ScotRail that the last train from Dalmarnock Station departs at 18:13 on Sunday. This means there will be no service from this station after the match is finished and fans are advised to arrange alternative transport options at full-time,” the Celtic SLO revealed.
Given that the rail operator know that the timing of the game at Celtic Park you would have thought that they could have ensured that the trains operated to accommodate their usual customers who use the trains to get to Celtic Park.
And of course the Celtic supporters attending the game on Sunday have already been inconvenienced but the 4.30pm on a Sunday kick-off time to suit the live broadcast on Sky Sports.
Now it’s going to be a Sunday evening headache for Celtic supporters who would normally head to Dalmarnock Station for their journey home.
Hopefully they’ll all have a smile on their faces as they leave the stadium on Sunday evening after watching Ange’s Champions putting on a show.
