Ideally it should give him a chance to see how far away the team is from competing in the Champions League, and we can also see if some of the fringe players are good enough to play in the biggest games.

Sometimes it’s tough for motivation in games like this, but you have to think that Eddy will want to prove PSG were wrong to let him go without giving him a chance.

Aside from that it looks like a possible three at the back formation which Lenny has favoured in Europe so the performance of Bitton will tell us how urgent a new centre back is.

It would also be good to see Klimala come on to see how he fares against a top side, and a good performance from him could silence rumours about a new forward arriving at the club.
