Team’s Up but there’s a Scott Brown Mystery in Paris

HERE is the Celtic team that will play against French Champions PSG at the Parc des Princes this evening in front of a small but vocal Celtic support.

Bain

Bitton, Jullien, Ajer

Frimpong, McGregor, Ntcham, Christie, Taylor

Edouard, Elyounoussi

And the first thing that jumps out at you looking at the team lines is where is the skipper?

Scott Bain is in goals – no surprise as he’s the only goalie we’ve got at the moment. It looks like Neil Lennon is going to play with three at the back with regulars Christopher Jullien and Kris Ajer being joined by Nir Bitton. The two wing backs are Jeremie Frimpong on the right and Greg Taylor on the left hand side.

Ryan Christie, Olivier Ntcham and Callum McGregor are the midfielders while it looks like Edouard will be joined by Moi Elyounoussi to compete the 3-5-2 formation.

What is interesting is that Scott Brown doesn’t even make the bench, suggesting there’s an injury problem for us to worry about.

Here are the players in the PSG squad to play Celtic in Paris this evening.
