Jullien “Proud” Of Celtic’s Position On Black Lives Matter

Christopher Jullien admits he was proud to be part of the Black Lives Matter protest with his Celtic teammates.

Celtic have taken a knee in both of their pre-season friendlies so far and will do so again against PSG on Tuesday evening. This is an action that has been performed the world over and Jullien feels it could be impactful.

He said: “You see it happening all over the world. We spoke as players and a staff before the games and said were going to be part of it.

“We wanted to show we are against racism and show we are behind this issue.

“It was a proud moment for me to do that alongside my team-mates and staff.

“It’s such an important issue. It’s about educating people all around the world and highlighting the situation.

“If by doing this we can make people understand then maybe it can make a difference eventually.”

The French central defender is set to start tonight’s match against PSG as Celtic complete their tour of France.
