Celtic v Hearts Reminder – Game available for 12.99 on PPV

As we gear up to tick another cinch Premiership league match off the list en-route to retaining the title tomorrow night’s game against Hearts will present a challenging task as is always the case whenever we play Robbie Neilson’s side. For some reason, Neilson and his team always save their best performces for Celtic – in stark contrast to their insipid, uninspiring displays versus theRangers.

A midweek match under the lights at Paradise always elicits a wonderful atmosphere in the air when the Hoops play, with our game against Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side last February proving a monumental moment in our pursuit of winning back the Scottish Premiership at the first time of asking. It ended 3-0 that night and the atmosphere was electric inside the stadium.

Although it’s not our main rival for the League Championship, Heart of Midlothian always throws up a feisty affair. Before Christmas time last year, the Bhoys played Hearts at Celtic Park on a midweek night and it was a close encounter as we narrowly overcame the Gorgie side to maintain the hunt for first place in the table.

I don’t imagine tomorrow’s game will lose any of that hatred these two teams have for one another, and it always adds to that big time feel when we face off against the Edinburgh club. Our game at Tyncastle way back in October was pretty action-packed and took us right to the brink before we came out on top that day in the Capital.

The first of a double-header with Neilson and his men, owing to the fact that we have another showdown with them away this time in Scottish Cup come the weekend, Ange will be looking to keep up this wonderful winning run we’re on at present. A win tomorrow should set us up nicely for our Quarter-final match too as we chase that Treble.

Celtic have made the game available for £12.99 via Pay-Per-View for supporters who wish to purchase the match at home, and we’ll need all the support to rally around the team both at the stadium and watching around the world as we keep our nine-point advantage at the top of the league, looking down on theRangers!

About Author

I'm a Garngad Bhoy through and through. My first ever Celtic game was a friendly against Italian side Parma at Celtic Park, in 2002. Currently a student of English Literature and Education at the University of Strathclyde for my sins. Favourite game would be a toss up between beating Manchester United with that Naka freekick, or the game against the Oldco when Hesselink scored in the dying seconds. I'm still convinced Cal Mac is wasted playing that far back.
