The match officials have been announced by the Scottish FA for this weekend’s Glasgow Derby showdown at Celtic Park…

The Scottish Premiership fixture will see Celtic host theRangers at Celtic on Saturday for the third Glasgow Derby encounter of the season.
Steven McLean has been appointed as the man in the middle as per the SFA website, with David McGeachie and Jonathan Bell running the lines. Video Assistant Referee duties will be handled by Kevin Clancy, supported by Grant Irvine.

Celtic head into the derby following another defeat, having been embarrassed 2–0 away to Motherwell at Fir Park on Tuesday night.
That result leaves Wilfried Nancy with five defeats from his opening seven matches since arriving at the club at the start of December.

Speaking post-match on Tuesday in Lanarkshire, Nancy said: “I know Celtic against (the)Rangers. I know that this is a rivalry game. I know what it means.”
“And we play this game. I do this job also for that, to play this kind of game. And we play, we want to play with passion. We know that, what does it mean to play a rivalry game? So again, tonight is tonight. We’re going to have more days to prepare the game and to rest also and to face this team.”
The latest Ibrox club head into the Glasgow Derby clash with momentum after a 2–1 victory over St Mirren on Tuesday which closed the gap between 2nd and 3rd to just three points.
The result has sharpened focus ahead of the weekend showdown, with manager Danny Rohl aiming to secure his first win over Celtic after suffering a 3–1 defeat in last month’s Premier Sports League Cup semi-final.
Nancy simply cannot suffer another defeat this weekend. That would make it six defeats from eight and would put theRangers level on points with Celtic despite the Hoops being nine points ahead of their rivals when Nancy walked through the door in December.
🗣️ “The Celtic players look directionless. The squad is in dire need of major surgery.”
