Celtic weekend round up: Chelsea and Arsenal want Forster, Odsonne Edouard update and getting supporters back into the ground

It does feel like the majority of Celtic’s energy has been focused on bringing Fraser Forster back for next season, but that could be in serious jeopardy.

The news broke over the weekend that Arsenal and Chelsea were now looking at making a move for the Southampton stopper, and you have to imagine his transfer fee and wage demands won’t be a problem for them.

That’s not to say all hope is lost, and you can read here about the situation that faces Forster and why it might not even be his decision.

Speculation over Odsonne Edouard being reunited with Brendan Rodgers has been going on for a while, so it’s not a surprise to see more stories about how Leicester are looking to fund a move for him.

From a Celtic point of view that might not be a huge concern for now, as it largely seems to be a case of making up a few different rumours in the hope one eventually comes true.

It might take a while for us to determine how important Damien Duff was to the Celtic coaching staff, but he’s opened up on how difficult it was to leave his dream job at Celtic Park.

Finally some news that will be welcomed by the fans, Lenny has spoken out over the situation about getting supporters into the grounds, and it sounds like playing behind closed doors won’t be a long term thing.
