Confirmed – Celtic’s Hampden date set

CELTIC’s Quadruple Treble hopes rest upon next months Scottish Cup Final versus Heart of Midlothian at Hampden. The game will be shown on Premier Sports with a kick-off set at 2.15pm on Sunday 20 December.

The game will be a re-run of the 2019 Final that Celtic won 2-1 thanks to Odsonne Edouard’s brace. The teams both overcame tough semi-final fixtures to book their places in the final of this year’s re-arranged final after COVID-19 wreaked havoc with the season, resulting in Hearts being relegated.

Robbie Neilson’s side have started the new season brightly, aided by the arrival of former Celtic goalkeeper Craig Gordon. Gordon produced a world class save versus Hibs to keep the scores level and will be relishing the chances to face his former teammates.
