He’s had a quiet game so far, but James Forrest has finally got his goal as Celtic have gone 3-0 up against Jablonec.
He’s struggled to get into the team as of late given the sensational form of new arrival of Liel Abada – which is fair as the Israeli deserves his spot.
But after being brought back into the starting XI following the unexpected absence of Abada, Forrest was robbed of an assist given the linesman’s poor call on Kyogo’s opener – but has finally made his inclusion pay dividends with a well-anticipated finish.
Greg Taylor and Ryan Christie have bred confidence all night, and the latter’s exquisite through ball found substitute Odsonne Edouard – and although his chip was well saved by the Jablonec stopper, the alert Forrest was there to poke the ball home.
