Extended highlights as Celtic spurn chances to beat Dundee United

Celtic drew a blank yesterday in the game at Tannadice as the game finished 0-0. Knowing a win was needed to delay Rangers’ title party, Celtic started brightly finding openings down the right hand side. However, a stubborn United kept the Quadruple Treble winners at bay and the game finished 0-0.

It was the story of Celtic’s season as they spurned more chances and imploded as the clock ran down. It was an enormous juxtaposition to the juggernaut of the second half of last season that were free-scoring and ruthless in the face of goal.
