Fake News Alert! ‘Sorry to disappoint you but it’s a Fake,’ confirm Glasgow City Council

GLASGOW City Council have confirmed that the the traffic bulletin screenshot that has been doing the rounds today on social media and that has rather embarrassingly been picked up by the Daily Record, is a FAKE.

The document claims that rounds around Celtic Park will be closed on Monday afternoon as Celtic prepare to introduce the new manager. That has excited many supporters who had deduced that the likes of Neil Lennon nor David Moyes would merit such measure being taken so it must be one the the big names who is going to be announced – Rafa, AVB or Mourinho, take your pick.

But the City Council have tweeted an update that kills the story stone dead, like Rangers 1872 (RIP, that kinda dead).

“You might have seen a screenshot of a council traffic bulletin that says London Road will be closed to make way for crowds in front of Celtic Park on Monday afternoon…Sorry to disappoint, but it’s a fake.”

Some of the comments below, bring out the humorous side to following Scottish football.

“Daily Record duped again,”….

“Rafa got the doctors on Monday? Roads closed Tuesday then?”….

“Another day without Moyes yass”…

“Record Sport hahahahaha amateurs”…

“Cheers. Kids crying now”…

“Won’t need traffic closure for Moyes”…

Here’s the dodgy document that fooled the Daily Record today….
