Ferencvaros v Celtic – Budapest ticket update for Celtic Supporters

Celtic this evening confirmed as expect that there will be no tickets available For Celtic fans for the away Europa League match against Ferencvaros next month. Local rules in Hungary stipulate that UK vaccination certificates re NOT valid and therefore Celtic have, in order to provide clarity for the travelling support, confirmed that unfortunately there will be no matchday tickets available to the Cetic fans.

This was also the situation in Seville when Celtic fans still travelled to the city to cheer on the team as they entered the stadium, with one or two making it into the game which Celtic ended up losing 4-3.

The third and final group stages away day is against Bayer Leverkusen on 25 November but Celtic are still waiting on the relevant information coming through from Germany before advising supporters. However the club stresses that no travel arrangements should be made at this stage.

Here’s the Celtic statement, as published on the official Celtic Fc website this evening…
