The Feyenoord side to take on Celtic this evening in the Europa League has been named by the Dutch side’s head-coach Robin van Persie…

Feyenoord team v Celtic: Wellenreuther, Lotomba, Ahmedhodzic, Watanabe, Smal, Valente, Targhalline, Moussa, Steijn, Sauer, Ueda. Substitutes : Bijlow, Bossin, Borges, Diarra, Kraaijeveld, Nieuwkoop, Ouarghi, Plug, Sliti, Tengstedt, Timber, van Persie.

Feyenoord have three points from their opening four matches, with Celtic one point better off on four points, so both sides it is fair to say really need the three points this evening. Martin O’Neill in his last match in charge has named his Celtic team with three changes from the weekend win over St Mirren and there’s a place on the bench for two of the young Celtic B team side.
The Celtic team is as follows:
Kasper Schmeichel; Colby Donavan, Auston Trusty, Liam Scales, Kieran Tierney; Callum McGregor (c), Arne Engels, Reo Hatate, Luke McCowan, Daizen Maeda and Yang. On the Celtic bench this evening are Sinisalo, Doohan; Nygren, Balikwisha, Iheanacho, Tourekti, Kenny, Bernardo, Murray and Ralston plus the B Team Bhoys Hale and Isiguzo.
Ahead of the game Martin O’Neill pointed this out to all who may be listening:
“Jock Stein said it, European football is where Celtic should be. But at this minute it’s a struggle for us.”
Hopefully we can struggle through this evening and maybe even sneak a win. Even a draw would do…
