“Following the main man into battle,” Joe Hart’s Instagram reaction

Celtic have posted Joe Hart’s reaction to the Bhoys’ win over Dundee United at Tannadice at the weekend. Joe and his teammates managed to overcome a dogged and determined Liam Fox side that worked very hard but in the end, just couldn’t compete with quality and rapacious nature of this current Celtic team.

It was a memorable occasion for many as club captain, Callum McGregor made his 400th appearance for the Hoops. A terrific servant of this football institution, Callum exemplifies all the best qualities of a Celtic leader and is in the same mould as all the greats that have went before him.

Joe acknowledged his captain’s contribution over his career at Parkhead and also thanked the tremendous support that is always unwavering wherever the team goes and plays their football. As the song says: “All over and over”.

Taking to Instagram, the big goalkeeper said:

“Following the main man into battle on his 400th appearance for this special club @CelticFC.

“Solid win, amazing support.”

I'm a Garngad Bhoy through and through. My first ever Celtic game was a friendly against Italian side Parma at Celtic Park, in 2002. Currently a student of English Literature and Education at the University of Strathclyde for my sins. Favourite game would be a toss up between beating Manchester United with that Naka freekick, or the game against the Oldco when Hesselink scored in the dying seconds. I'm still convinced Cal Mac is wasted playing that far back.
