Impressive Bayo, marvel at Scott Allan’s Motivation

IT is well worth watching the highlights from Celtic Reserves 6-0 win against Dundee at Station Park in Forfar yesterday.

Neil Lennon was there yesterday, apparently the previous Celtic manager never once attended a reserve or development game – yet he was at one down at Leicester last midweek when Celtic were playing Hearts!

Scott Allan looks a decent player. It must be hard for him to maintain his motivation given he was given zero opportunity to play in any Rodgers selected Celtic side and he was also denied a chance to head to Hibs in January after signing a pre-contract agreement with the Easter Road side.

With Celtic missing midfielders such as Tom Rogic, Callum McGregor and Ryan Christie at the moment, you wonder if Neil Lennon might give Allan an opportunity before his time at Celtic comes to an end in May.

Bayo looks more promising in this game than he has according to previous reports. Our January signing scored a decent goal – his first in a Celtic shirt – set up the opener with a lovely through ball and was unlucky to see a free-kick in the second half coming back off the post.

Well done to Celtic TV for widening the amount of content that they are placing onto You Tube.
