Celtic’s squad for the knockout stages of the Champions League has been confirmed, despite Brendan Rodgers being somewhat reluctant to talk about it yesterday at the very start of his media conference…

Brendan Rodgers made three new registrations to his 25-man list following the January departures of Kyogo, Luis Palma, Alex Valle and Stephen Welsh from the squad.
With four exiting Celtic’s UEFA registration, three came in; new signings Jota and Jeffrey Schlupp were added to the squad alongside returning Shamrock Rovers loanee Johnny Kenny who featured in his second Hoops appearance midweek against Dundee.

Vincent Kompany’s men are heavy favourites for the Champions League knockout playoff round tie with Atletico Madrid or Bayer Leverkusen awaiting the winners in the last 16 of Europe’s top tier club competition in March.
