Jurgen Klopp makes Celtic admission as he previews Ange Postecoglou showdown

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has admitted knowing what to expect when his side faces Ange Postecoglou’s Spurs on Saturday evening. The German manager, who has won every honour with The Reds, is looking forward to facing up against the Australian stating that he has watched Celtic and is aware of how Ange wants his teams to play.

Speaking at a media conference before the trip to London, Klopp said that he knew what kind of coach Postecoglou was judging by his Celtic team’s performances.

Since arriving in English football, Postecoglou has taken the Premier League by storm with his presence as well as his attacking style of play. Initially, there was some degree of snobbery directed towards him but he has turned that perception around, winning the manager of the month award from August.

Klopp will have likely been speaking to promising youngster Ben Doak about Ange, who gave the winger his debut. During his time as Celtic manager, Postecoglou won five trophies out of six while competing in the Champions League playing his style of football. Another player that will likely be able to assist Klopp is Scotland skipper Andy Robertson, who will have had regular contact with Celtic’s captain, Callum McGregor.
