Kyogo and Hatate join Maeda in Japan Squad, Celtic confirm Gamba Osaka match

Celtic this morning announced the second fixture for their summer visit to Japan. The Scottish Champions will play Gamba Osaka on 22 July at the Panasonic Stadium Suita in Osaka with a local kick-off time of 7pm, which incidentally is 11am Celtic Park Time.

Meanwhile more news from Japan this morning with Yatao reporting the news that Celtic stars Reo Hatate, Kyogo and Daizen Maeda have all been called up the the Japan National side for the Kirin Cup matches against El Salvador on 15 June and Peru on 20 June. Daizen Maeda has been a constant in the Japan squad but Celtic fans were left baffled that Kyogo, now Scotland’s Player of the Year and top goalscorer, and his midfield teammate Reo Hatate have been overlooked for the national squad. Both thought will now get their chance in June.
