Celtic striking target Lawrence Shankland has confirmed a new agent, Storm Sports, as he looks to seal a move away from Tannadice this summer. The 25-year-old was a target of Celtic last year and he has put Dundee United on transfer alert as he was confirmed with the sports agency as his contract enters its final year in the summer.

The Scotland Internationalist is hoping to make the next step after two years in The City of Discovery. Celtic, Rangers, Aberdeen and a few Ligue 1 sides have been linked with Shankland; although there was no deal forthcoming in the summer so now the player will likely be available for a cheaper price than was quoted last year.
Celtic reportedly tried to poach Shankland in January 2020 with recruitment chief Nicky Hammond watching the hitman as well as scout Tosh McKinlay. Although the club appeared to cool their interest when Klimala arrived as well as the resurgence of Leigh Griffiths. However, since neither have performed to the same standard this season, Celtic could look to reignite their interest.
Celtic have been linked with Shankland following his impressive season with the Tannadice club last season. Although, the striker has scored 7 goals and 4 assists in 28 appearances as he has struggled to replicate the form of the previous season. Celtic could do a lot worse than add an option in Shankland, who has the striking instincts which make him comparable to Leigh Griffiths.
Albian Ajeti failed to hit the heights of his first five games, Odsonne Edouard impressed despite a patchy start but he will likely head onto pastures new this summer. Griffiths is likely to head for the exit too after being unreliable for too many times in the last two seasons.
Celtic are entering into a rebuilding phase this summer as Dominic McKay enters as Chief Executive with a new footballing operations department likely to follow the 42-year-old to Paradise.
