Champions League qualifiers can be brutal at the best of times, but the format of one off ties means that Celtic are in big trouble if they can’t turn this round tonight.
Ferencvaros started well and took the lead through a well taken goal, and Celtic are really struggling to create any clear cut chances just now.
The decision to start without a recognised striker was always going to come back on Lenny if things didn’t go to plan, so you have to think that changes will be made soon.

There’s also an issue at the back where Jullien and Ajer are looking a bit scared of the ball so that’s killing Celtic when they try to build from the back, so Lenny needs to come up with one hell of a half time team talk.
We have to think that failure to reach the group stages could also restrict any further moves that Celtic can make in the transfer market, so it’s not a surprise that a lot of the fans are furious at half time:
Celtic are in dire need of someone who can attack a ball in the mixer up front!

Celtic far too slow going forward and giving the opponents time to settle down and in their areas of defence.

Sort this formation out. Shocking

Please put an actual striker on the pitch, Celtic. Enough chances there to be winning by a couple if we had one.

Celtic not playing an out and out striker at home is unreal. Neil Lennon has lost it

Gone say to Lennon to put a natural striker on.

Celtic need a striker on ASAP here. Very surprised that Kimala didn’t start.
