“Let the players know they’ve not cracked it,” Sutton’s take on Celtic’s Paisley shocker

Chris Sutton took to social media to give his opinion on Celtic’s shocking and disappointing defeat in Paisley on Sunday afternoon. Ange Postecoglou decided to field a considerably changed starting eleven against St Mirren, with the absence of Cameron Carter-Vickers and the out injured Carl Starfelt in the line-up a major factor in the way Celtic’s afternoon panned out.

Former Celtic striker, Chris Sutton believes the cause for Celtic’s demise was Ange making too many changes to the squad and mentions the missing players from the starting eleven. The Celtic legend closes with some positivity in this unfortunate circumstance, so the players can at least take something from the game.

“Lots of changes for Celtic today and maybe too many key players left out. Not the same without CCV, Jota, Hatate and missed McGregor’s speed of passing in the pivot role early on… sometimes a result like this isn’t a bad thing to let the players know they’ve not cracked it!,” Chris Sutton.
