Listen to the New Bhoys! It’s 4 goals in 2 games for Burke and Weah

LISTEN to Celtic’s New Bhoys Timothy Weah and last night’s Man of the Match Oliver Burke who scored twice against St Mirren before being replaced by the American – who also grabbed another goal.

Both look special talents. Weah has been enthusiastically welcomed from the moment he arrived at the club but for Burke he had to endure some online stick at the weekend from the Twitter ‘experts’ – last night they were sitting with egg on their faces. they’ll just move onto someone else.

Incidentally anyone who dares to praise Mikael Lustig – “he’s done”, “finished” and “past it” or “the weakest link” or Anthony Ralston – “not good enough” are immediately jumped upon by these guys. Ralston was the Man of the Match on Saturday before getting injured in the closing stages and Lustig came back into the side last night, rested for the first time since the World Cup, and he was excellent.

Yes we need and want a new right back, but Lustig bashing is not on and Ralston deserves our support as a young player coming through, following in the footsteps of Forrest, McGregor and Tierney. Not so long ago Celtic Supporters would show tremendous support and encouragement to young players coming into the team.

Why has this changed?

Anyway here’s Oliver Burke and Timothy Weah discussing last night’s 4-0 win over St Mirren.
