Looks like Dafabet’s here for fourteen in a row!

CELTIC have announced a new recording breaking sponsorship for a Scottish football club, with a long term, seven year shirt sponsorship deal with Dafabet.

Dafabet has two years remaining on their current deal and have been so pleased with their association with the Champions that they have now added an additional 5 seasons to the deal.

“We are absolutely delighted to secure such a lucrative, long-term arrangement with Dafabet, a fantastic partner with whom we have already enjoyed such a great relationship,” Peter Lawwell said today.

“Celtic is currently in a terrific position on and off the field, achieving regular football success and with an infrastructure of strength and stability. Celtic continues to be one of the world’s great football clubs and through these strong fundamentals we continue to be able to attract and deliver such quality partnerships,” the Celtic Chief Executive continued.

“This announcement represents further great news for the club and our supporters ensuring another positive, high value and high calibre partnership for the future. We thank Dafabet for their continued commitment to Celtic Football Club.

“Agreements such as the one we announce today allow us to look forward with confidence as we strive to ensure Celtic maintains its position as the biggest and best in Scottish football.”

John Cruces, Head of Sports Marketing and Sponsorship at Dafabet also commented on the new deal.

“We are absolutely delighted to extend our partnership with Celtic, one of the world’s great football clubs and an institution which with which we are so proud to be associated,” he said.

“Our connection to Celtic has already been fantastic for us and even with two years still to run on our existing partnership, it was a relationship we were eager to continue.

“We could not have envisaged how well the last two years would have been for us, with the Invincible first season, then a second successive treble last year.

“The number of records broken and club firsts, have brought so much joy to all connected with the club. Being on the front of the famous iconic Celtic shirt during this time brought us as much pride as it does to the Celtic supporters, who are some of the best and most passionate in the game.

“We are very pleased to enter this new agreement and make this further commitment to the club and its fans.

“We are absolutely certain that over the next seven years we’ll continue to see more records broken and by continuing to work together as part of the Celtic family we are sure we will be able to deliver our objectives.”

Hopefully some of this revenue will find its way to Brendan Rodgers before the transfer window closes at the end of August!
