‘Modest greetings to the tabloids from the Isles,’ FC Karpaty Lviv troll Daily Record

MARIAN SHVED was out for a season apparently! This was the news reported in the ‘tabloids from the Isles’ and it has to be said, picked up by quite a few of the Celtic sites. Turns out it’s complete and utter nonsense.

“Marian Shved is training with Karpaty team’s main group preparing to the next league match scheduled for closest weekend.

“It is difficult to understand in which way he can do it suffering muscle rupture. We are passing our modest greetings to the tabloids from the Isles,” FC Karpaty Lviv stated on their official social media account.

Shved is going to see out the season with FC Karpaty Lviv before heading to Glasgow either at the end of Marcher in early April, after he completed his move Celtic in the January window before being loaned back to the Lithuanian side.

The tabloids and any of the fans sites site subsequently ran with this ‘story’ should be feeling a wee bit embarrassed today. Well done to FC Karpaty Lviv for calling them out!
