‘Mourinho has offer from Celtic,’ top Italian journalist

GIANLUCA Di MARZIO, Sky Italy’s top football reporter, has today reported that Celtic have made an offer to Jose Mourinho.

It is a curveball that the Celtic support didn’t expect after the 8-in-a-row celebrations yesterday hinted that Neil Lennon would remain in charge in the quest for 10-in-a-row.

Mourinho has always spoken well about the Celtic support, stating that Seville was one of his hardest games; however the question remains would Celtic suit Mourinho and vice versa?

The European heavyweight manager left Manchester United at the end of 2018 and is looking for work, preferably in a league that he hasn’t won yet. Although, it has been reported that ‘The Special One’ was in talks with Roma and it could be a case of this ‘deal’ being used to further his demands in Italy.

We will keep you updated as the story develops.
