North Curve Celtic have released troubling footage that shows heavy handed policing before Celtic’s win over Motherwell at Fir Park. The supporters group have released images and a video of a Celtic fan being restrained by officers in what is a harrowing watch given how the young man could have been injured.
Once again, Celtic fans were subject to dangerous police practices at Sunday's match through the use of excessive force, police horses and steel pens. This is a pattern of behaviour that the club has done nothing to address despite increasing concerns of fans. pic.twitter.com/9DpmNs9X6w

After being assaulted and dragged to the ground by multiple officers, the above video clearly shows a young fan under the control – and body weight – of one officer and not resisting.
Three other officers then join, adding their weight, with one applying their knee to the neck. pic.twitter.com/07KjyEFsSV

At this point, the fan clearly becomes distressed, flailing his legs and screaming that he couldn't breathe due to the weight, particularly on his neck.
In a separate incident, another young fan was assaulted by police resulting in multiple stitches to the head and a broken arm. pic.twitter.com/Xa5xHhsrVc

It is a real worry to see images like this around football games. The club should be liaising with the Police and match commanders to ensure that fans are not being targeted.
It’s been going on for years had mounted police charging up and down Jane field street but that was it away games tyne castle worst been crushed by mounted police at cues to get into three turn styles yes mobile phones are out recording everything we are see more now than anything police won’t be blamed people will blame supporters there is an anarchy element following football
