OGC Nice are keen on signing Celtic’s Odsonne Edouard. The 23-year-old has just a year remaining on his deal at Celtic and Football Insider is reporting that Nice, managed by Christophe Galtier, are ready to submit an offer for Edouard.
Brighton and Crystal Palace have been linked with Edouard recently but these rumours do not seem to have progressed beyond speculation yet it appears inevitable that the Frenchman will depart in this transfer window. Celtic will hope for a deal in the region of £20m for a player that has scored 87 times for the club since arriving in a £9m deal back in 2017.

The Ligue 1 side are undergoing a rebuild of their own as they look to challenge for the Champions League places. The Cote d’Azur club are owned by Ineos, who want to turn the South of France team into a challenger for free-spending Paris Saint Germain.
Celtic are still hoping to get a few more signings in the door as Ange Postecoglou looks to strengthen his side by the end of the window. Postecoglou has Ajeti and Griffiths as well as new signing Kyogo Furuhashi. The arrival of the Japanese Internationalist suggested that Edouard’s dates in the Hoops were numbered and you would hope that a deal can be done to suit all parties. Edouard came off the bench against Jablonec and could be included tomorrow as Celtic look to beat Hearts to a place in the next round of the League Cup.
