On This Day, Celtic have played in a variety of fixtures ranging from a home Scottish Cup tie, an away league visit and a Cup Winners Cup win back in 1966.
Back in 2008, Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink gave Celtic the lead against Stirling Albion at Celtic Park after brilliant work from Aiden McGeady on the left hand side. McDonald made it 2-0 after a cutback from Lee Naylor inside the box and it was wrapped up with a fine finish from Nakamura.
