Photo: Hibs pay tribute to departing Celtic captain Scott Brown

Scott Brown made his professional breakthrough at Hibernian but the central midfielder made his name in Glasgow’s East End after a £4.5m move in 2007. Fourteen years later and Brown is back at Easter Road, playing his final game for Celtic – his 620th.

Ahead of today’s game, David Gray presented Brown with a commemorative plaque to honour his final Celtic appearance and his contribution to Scottish Football. It will have been touching moment from Brown and was classy from Hibs,

Brown will be a big loss to the club with the new manager, whoever it is, tasked with finding a new captain as well as as mounting a sizeable rebuilding job. Brown leaves Celtic its 22 major trophies, making him one of the most decorated Celts ever.
