‘Quiet Please’ Hartson Hits Out at Celtic Critics

John Hartson has jumped to Celtic’s defence after a day of public slagging in the media. Sam Allardyce came out and said that it would be ‘easy to win’ with Celtic in an attempt for the unemployed manager to stay relevant, John Hartson has bitten back at the ex-England manager.

On his personal twitter feed, the big Welshman took a dig back at those that have attempt to take a shot at Celtic in recent days, such as Allardyce or Livi’s Dykes, who said that Scott Brown went to injure him in Saturday’s game – SEE HERE.

Hartson told these critics to be quiet whilst saying that only those that have represented the club really know the culture, the meaning and the family of Celtic.

Hartson was a fans’ favourite at Celtic and still enjoys a special relationship with the fans after scoring 109 goals in 201 appearances for the club. He also hasn’t gone down the route that some ex-players have in bashing the club for the sake of a few quid in the media, which endears him even more, especially when he calls out those giving the club pelters to get some air time.
