Ralston comment sums up the Celtic mentality

After what was a tricky affair on Saturday afternoon, we were all relieved and elated that our superiority and dominance over an Aberdeen team that, quite frankly, would have been better not showing up that day was put to the sword. Celtic had the ball for the entire game and despite Jim Goodwin and his pathetic tactics, we still managed to overcome.

We’re sitting nine points clear of the latest Ibrox outfit still and it’s looking like were good to keep that momentum going after a massive boost winning so late in the day again away from home. The sick-buckets would have well and truly been out over at Govan, as they say. We’re making quite the habit of it now these days.

Ask Hugh Keevins, he’ll tell you…

But anyway, after the tough and torrid conditions, and downright dreariness of Pittodrie, Celtic right-back, Anthony Ralston took to social media platform Instagram to congratulate his teammates. However, the manner in which he expressed this sentiment sums up the mentality currently residing within this Celtic squad right now under Ange Postecoglou.

Ralston said: “Good away win! Support first class, onto Wednesday”

Celtic’s Twitter account reposted the comment made by the Scotland international with the brick emoji, which has become synonymous with the man who was once thought of as surplus to requirements at Celtic Park. He’s now a major ingredient into what makes this Celtic side tick in the dressing room and out on the park. Anthony knows how important the next game is and we can’t allow ourselves to slip into complacency.

Maybe Aberdeen will redeem themselves tonight after disappointing their support at the weekend against the best team in the country….

I'm a Garngad Bhoy through and through. My first ever Celtic game was a friendly against Italian side Parma at Celtic Park, in 2002. Currently a student of English Literature and Education at the University of Strathclyde for my sins. Favourite game would be a toss up between beating Manchester United with that Naka freekick, or the game against the Oldco when Hesselink scored in the dying seconds. I'm still convinced Cal Mac is wasted playing that far back.
