AC MILAN will look to reignite their interest in Kris Ajer in January, according to Tuttosport via MilanNews. Italian footballing legend Paolo Maldini is an admirer of Ajer but will only sanction a move if he fails with his first choice target Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic.
I Rossoneri will play Celtic in Glasgow later this month in the Europa League Group H and they have been linked with a move for Ajer throughout the window; however no move transpired.
Ajer responded to the interest in him earlier today, saying that he was very happy at Celtic and was focused on this important season.

The club should respond to the interest in Ajer, as well as his being content with the Scottish Champions, by offering him a new and improved contract but adopting a release clause, allowing him to move on if an offer in an agreed region is received. Ajer is part of an exciting generation of Norwegian football and will fancy moving abroad to further his career but only after he has helped Celtic create footballing history by winning 10IAR.
