Ross County v Celtic: team news, KO time and where to watch

Celtic face Ross County in Dingwall this afternoon in the second round of Premiership fixtures. It’s a tough day out for Celtic – players and supporters alike – given the lengthy journey up to The Highlands. Hopefully, Ange’s team will put on a show and brush aside Malky Mackay’s Staggies.

Team News

Celtic were landed a blow during the week with the news that Reo Hatate would be unavailable for the trip to the Highlands. The Japanese midfielder was forced off the pitch during the win over Aberdeen last week; however, he was replaced on the park by David Turnbull, who you’d imagine will start in his place today.

Yosuke Ideguchi remains out. He picked up a knock in training last week.

Celtic will welcome back Carl Starfelt to the fray. However, you’d imagine goalscorer Stephen Welsh will retain his place will the Swede is eased back into first team action.

Predicted XI: Hart; Taylor, Carter-Vickers, Welsh, Juranovic;  McGregor (C), Turnbull, O’Riley; Maeda, Kyogo, Jota.

Kick Off Time

The game kicks off at 3pm.

Where to Watch

The game is not available to watch on TV after Sky Sports decided against broadcasting the fixture. After the SPFL’s decision to end PPV arrangements for clubs, fans will have to listen to the game. Fans outside Britain & Ireland will be able to watch on Celtic TV.
