Sky Sports announce live cinch Premiership broadcast schedule

We’ve just updated you on the re-arranged date for cinch Premiership match between Celtic and St Mirren which is now taking place on Wednesday 18 January with a 7.45pm kick-off at Celtic Park.

This match was initially due to take place the previous Saturday but was postponed as Celtic are playing in the League Cup semi-final at Hampden against Kilmarnock that afternoon. The Rugby Park side were due to play theRangers at home that afternoon but will now face Ange Postecoglou’s Scottish Champions.

And the visit from theRangers has also been re-arranged for Wednesday 18 January and this match will be shown live on Sky Sports, who today confirmed all their live broadcasts of cinch Premiership matches up to and including 18 January.

The broadcaster has conformed this afternoon that it is showing the following Scottish games live:

Saturday 12 November: St Mirren vs theRangers, kick-off 12.30pm

Thursday 15 December: theRangers vs Hibernian, kick-off 8pm

Saturday 17 December: Aberdeen vs Celtic, kick-off 12.30pm

Tuesday 20 December: Aberdeen vs theRangers, kick-off 8pm

Friday 23 December: Ross County vs theRangers, kick-off 7.30pm

Wednesday 28 December: Hibernian vs Celtic, kick-off 8pm

Monday 2 January: theRangers vs Celtic, kick-off 12.30pm

Sunday 8 January: Motherwell vs Hibernian, kick-off 1.30pm

Sunday 8 January: Dundee United vs theRangers, kick-off 4pm

Wednesday 18 January: Kilmarnock v theRangers, kick-off 8pm

That makes 7 games from ten will feature theRangers while Celtic will be featured in just three from the ten games Sky Sports are showing live. This isn’t anything to do with bias in case you are wondering, it has more to do with the difficult run of away matches that the latest Ibrox club have to negotiate during this period.
