CELTIC’S next two fixtures – against Clyde in the Scottish Cup at Cumbernauld on Sunday and the Premiership Match against Hearts at Celtic Park on Wednesday night are both at risk of postponement as a result of Storm Ciara which is set to hit Scotland on Saturday night and will bring wet and windy conditions through until Tuesday.
#StormCiara has been named and will bring very unsettled weather across the UK through Saturday night and Sunday.

Celtic CEO John Paul Taylor has just tweeted relating to the incoming bad weather with this ominous message for the Hoops support: “Fixture Info: If Sunday’s match was to be postponed the rescheduled date is Wednesday, Feb 12.”
That would imply that there is a risk to the game against Clyde and also if it was to be postponed due to Storm Ciara, then the game would be played on Wednesday night, meaning of course that the game against Hearts will have to be postponed, although David Potter will be quick to remind us of the occasions when Celtic did indeed play two games in one day and won the league in doing so!

Responding to the Celtic SLO’s tweet @pauthetim noted that there’s “snow forecast for midweek” while Celtic Symphony queried the heads up, “For storm winds, JP? As pitch will be fine.”
“That’s not very positive,” noted James Hay. “Hearts at home would then be rescheduled too,” Martino noted. John Cassidy asked “The 67 dollar question is…when will a decision be made?”
