Chris Sutton has done his chances of getting his ban from Ibrox lifted anytime soon absolutely no favours whatsoever with his response this evening to a tweet by theRangers official account (since 2012) that says they’ll be watching on as their player Barisic is involved in the semi-final of the World Cup against Argentina.
Barisic is of course a substitute while Celtic defender Josip Juranovic has been a key performer for Croatia all the way to the semi-final and Sutton makes the point brilliantly telling theRangers that they can watch The Celtic man in action this evening!
Croatia were beaten finalists in Russia four years ago, losing to France in the Final. This time they are looking to go one further but it’s Argentina that stand in their way this evening. That said it was Brazil in the quarter finals and inspired by a Man of the Match performance from the Celtic star, Croatia deservedly won through via a penalty shoot-out.
