Video: New Bhoys Kobayashi and Johnston train at Lennoxtown

Celtic are preparing to take on Aberdeen at Pittodrie this coming weekend and will be hoping to pick up where they left off in the Scottish Premiership. We currently sit atop of the Legaue with a nine-point advantage and a far superior goal difference. Our closest rivals, theRangers will be hoping they can claw back anything under their new boss, Mick Beale. But as we know, Ange Postecoglou and his team, never stop!

The return to Lennoxtown this week has been poignant as it has given the manager a chance to integrate fully new signings, Ally Johnston and Yuki Kobayashi. Both men have arrived ahead of schedule and won’t be able to play until the first of next month. However, it’s crucial that they are given some time to bed in.

Celtic’s media team have released footage of the Bhoys training and captain Callum McGregor looks to have mended well from his knee issue that occurred over in Leipzig back in October, during a UEFA Champions League group stage match in Germany. Josip Juranovic is obviously absent as he is competing in a World Cup Semi-final against Argentina later tonight.

Saturday up at Pittodrie promises to be a great game having a clean bill of health in the squad and everyone raring to go. The Ibrox club play before us on Thursday night unusually at home to Hibs. If they were to drop points, it would give us the opportunity and impetus to really rub salt into the wounds.

Saturday can’t come quick enough!

I'm a Garngad Bhoy through and through. My first ever Celtic game was a friendly against Italian side Parma at Celtic Park, in 2002. Currently a student of English Literature and Education at the University of Strathclyde for my sins. Favourite game would be a toss up between beating Manchester United with that Naka freekick, or the game against the Oldco when Hesselink scored in the dying seconds. I'm still convinced Cal Mac is wasted playing that far back.
