Team’s Up – Abada starts, Kyogo on the bench

Ange Postecoglou has named his team for this afternoon’s Scottish Cup Semi Final against Rangers. Celtic will be looking to join Hearts in the Final with a win over their Glasgow rivals. A few weeks ago, Celtic won 2-1 at Ibrox but the team will take nothing for granted on Easter Sunday.

In goals, English goalkeeper Joe Hart starts. He is joined by Postecoglou’s first pick defence – Josip Juranovic at right back, Greg Taylor at left back and then Cameron Carter-Vickers and Carl Starfelt as the central pairing.

In midfield, captain Callum McGregor is joined by Tom Rogic & Reo Hatate.

In attack, Liel Abada starts on the right, Jota is on the left with Daizen Maeda through the middle.

Bench: Bain, Jullien, Kyogo, Turnbull, McCarthy, Johnston, Ideguchi, O’Riley, Forrest & Welsh.

Kyogo will look to make an impact from the bench with his last appearance at the National Stadium being a happy one, scoring a brace as Celtic won the League Cup in December.

It is a huge game this afternoon and fans will be making their way to the National Stadium armed with a tricolour after the Police denied a tifo to support the team.

Come on Celtic!
